It was a Sunday afternoon, I was in Kajang attending my day 2 of Portraiture & Studio Lighting class when I received a text message from hubby, telling me that he is on his way to the hospital to visit his new born nephew!

Been anticipating for the newborn since weeks before, I was super excited!

Of all I know, lil’ SIL was in a good condition but the lil’ Qays need to be in the incubator. No meeting him until a week after when he first reach home! He was so small!

Qays brought the joy to his atok & wan after they have been waiting for so long (from me & hubby)! Congratulations to my in law for the new title!

TODAY IS DIFFERENT FROM YESTERDAY

It was a photo critics session on our landscape class with our trainer, Shamshahrin Shamsudin.

It was tough yet it was great! It was something that I’ve been looking for so long. It gave me a different feeling, different perspective and different way of thinking & to understand me better! A typical me, I appreciate a harder way to learn things!

But, today is so much different! It was almost 6 in the morning when I hit the sack. Was with the mates struggling for our Digital Darkroom assignments until 4 in the morning before we adjourned to the nearest favorite mamak for sahur! I was rising but not so shining around 11 am. So not my usual way to start the day what more on a weekend. I love morning!

I had a great conversation with an old friend earlier today, she was my classmate back when I was in high school. Basing in Hong Kong now, a great ideas we came out with and I am liking them to the bits. It is an immediate big plan ahead that I cannot wait to make it happen! I am feeling different!

WHEN THE NEW TERM START

We started the new term with Ted Adnan on Portraiture & Studio Lighting. Yes, we are in our second term already. Time fly very fast and we are loving every bits of it!

New things and new discovery is always a great thing to have in everyday life! What more in our diploma course. One of the best thing I have so far in life, and how I wish to have this opportunity earlier.

RAMADHAN KAREEM

Salam Ramadhan to all the Muslim readers.

It has been  a week when I am hitting the keyboard to write this post. I hope it’s not very late to wish you to have a good Ramadhan ahead. This is always a month to be with the family & friends and to evaluate ourselves over and over again.

This is the second Ramadhan without my dad. I will always remember his favorite menu and his normal habit during the fasting month.

He didn’t eat a lot during fasting month and his choice for iftar was always the tamar with mixes of milk and some almond and raisin. For energy boosting, according to him.

Most of the times, we always have what is just enough for what we need. And my mom will prepare the menu and always the simple one with nothing extravaganza as compare during our childhood time. Still, we were stuffed and feel good.

For this Ramadhan, I am here asking for a forgiveness from all of you if I ever did any wrong doings, said wrong things that touches your heart.

Please forgive me.

Let’s hope this Ramadhan will be the better one from the previous year.
